Dr. Aly Abdel Razek

Chief of Radiation Oncology - American Board Certified

Dr. Abdel Razek, board certified in Radiation Oncology and Pediatrics, graduated from Cairo University and completed his residency at Washington University in St. Louis in 1976. He served as an assistant professor at Washington University and contributed to national oncology committees, including the Southwest Oncology Group and the National Wilms Tumor Committee. A Fellow of the American College of Radiation Oncology, Dr. Razek is the President of Medical Resources International and Executive Director of the Gulf International Cancer Center.

Dr. Yazan Z. Alabed

Consultant Nuclear Medicine - American & Canadian Board Certified

Dr. Alabed, Chief of Nuclear Medicine and Director of Molecular Imaging at Gulf International Cancer Center, earned his MD-PhD from McGill University in 2009. He completed his PhD in Neuroscience at the Montreal Neurological Institute and his Nuclear Medicine residency at McGill University Health Centre in 2014. In 2015, he completed a fellowship in PET/CT Cancer Imaging at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Yazan Z. Alabed

Dr. Aladdin Marraoui

Chief of Medical Oncology - American Board Certified

Dr. Marraoui, American Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology, and Hematology, graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Aleppo University. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Christ Hospital, Chicago, in 1992, and his Hematology/Oncology fellowship at the University of Colorado in 1999. He later served as Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado and is currently Adjunct Clinical Professor at Gulf Medical University, Ajman.

Dr. Mourad Salam

Consultant Medical Oncologist

Dr. Mourad Salam, board certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology, joined Gulf International Cancer Center in Abu Dhabi after serving as a Consultant at the King Hussein Cancer Center in Jordan. He is an active member of ASCO and ESMO, with expertise in chemotherapy and immunotherapy for various cancers, including breast, lung, and colorectal cancer. His focus is on aggressive breast cancer subtypes. Dr. Mourad has been an investigator in several clinical trials and has multiple peer-reviewed publications.
