Founded in 2007 by H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan and Dr. Aly Abdel Razek, the Gulf International Cancer Center (GICC) is the UAE’s first private ambulatory cancer center. Built on U.S. clinical guidelines inspired by George Washington University Medical Center, GICC provides world-class, evidence-based cancer care in a calm and supportive environment. This hospital provides excellent treatment with amazing and helpful nurses and radiotherapy technicians. I completed my radiation sessions here, with the last one on March 29th, and I'm very satisfied with the care and treatment received.
Living with cancer is tough, but daily radiation treatments are made easier by the well-maintained, spacious, and bright facility. Most importantly, the kind and caring staff make the challenging journey more bearable.
My first visit for a PET scan was great – the facility is neat, and the staff are amazing. From the reception to the nurses and doctors, everyone is professional, with high-tech machines. I'm happy to continue my therapy here.
